Downtown
In 2001, Kelli Beingesser, MD, and Gail Newel, MD, FWMG owners, formed a new corporation, WellBeing, LLC, in order to purchase a downtown office site. They acquired a Fresno landmark, the 1925 Interrieden Raisin packing plant, better known as The Old Spaghetti Factory, on the northeast corner of Ventura and R Streets.
This 46,000 square foot warehouse is now called The O Building due to its easy access from the O Street exit on Freeway 41. It is located near both the Regional Medical Center and University Medical Center. Fresno Women's Medical Group plans to occupy a portion of the building, focused on serving the obstetric and gynecologic needs of women who live in south Fresno and Sunnyside, or who work downtown. Other tenants will include a mixture of government agencies, educational institutions, non profit entities, and private enterprise, all focused on women's health. Work is currently underway for the restoration and development of the building.
