For a long time, Dr. Kelli Beingesser and Dr. Gail Newel had a dream. They wanted to start a group of obstetrician-gynecologists who would take care of women in the special way that they deserve. Both physicians were on the forefront of medical education for women, and as women themselves – consumers of the product they wanted to deliver – they had ideas about how to provide quality health care to women.
In 1998, they realized this dream, by founding Fresno Women’s Medical Group (FWMG), offering excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology in a setting that is supportive of women’s comfort and needs. They subsequently, partnered with Dr. Christine Lopopolo and Dr. Marci Dabbs who shared similar aspirations. Today, the group has grown to include Dr. Patricia Felton, Dr. Sharon Kopacz and our wonderful team of practitioners. We provide women’s health care for women and their families from a woman’s point of view. At FWMG, we believe in patient choice and responsibility through education.
