For a long time, Dr. Kelli Beingesser and Dr. Gail Newel had a dream. They wanted to start a group of obstetrician-gynecologists who would take care of women in the special way that they deserve. Both physicians were at the forefront of medical education for women, and as women themselves – consumers of the product they wanted to deliver – they had ideas about how to provide quality health care to women.

In 1998, they realized this dream by founding Fresno Women’s Medical Group (FWMG), offering excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology in a setting that is supportive of women’s comfort and needs. In 2014, Dr. Sharon Kopacz took over the practice. Dr. Kopacz has built upon the original vision of FWMG, to provide safe, non-judgmental, patient-focused care, using wisdom, education, and empathy. Dr. Kopacz, as well as her Mid-Levels, believe in patient choice and responsibility through education.
